SilverCrest's flagship property is the 100%-owned Santa Elena Mine, which is located 150km northeast of Hermosillo, Mexico. Santa Elena Mine will be a high-grade, open-pit gold and silver producer, processing 2,500 tonnes of ore per day from a heap leach operation.

Construction at Santa Elena is 85% complete, on time & under budget. The Company anticipates a first metal pour in Q3, with full production in Q4 2010.
